Our Founding Discipline
Frame Relay, ATM, Private Line, Optical, MPLS, IP, VPN, SD-WAN, WiFi 6E/7 — we’ve designed, built, migrated, and operated business networks through every major technology transition of the past 27 years. Our clients keep us because the network keeps working.
Why Networks One
We started when the fastest link most businesses could afford was a T1, and we’ve stayed relevant through every generation since — Frame Relay, ATM, MPLS, IPSec VPN, MPLS-to-SD-WAN, WiFi 802.11a all the way through WiFi 7. That kind of continuity is rare, and it’s the reason our clients call us when a migration matters.
Most networking shops today grew up in one specific era — either a legacy telco background or a cloud-native SD-WAN focus. Neither talks fluently to the other. We do, because we lived through both transitions.
The result: when we plan your refresh, we know what your current gear can do, what your target platform can’t do yet, and what the migration path looks like without surprises. Design happens before hardware. Documentation happens before handoff. And the network keeps working while you sleep.
What We Build
From the closet to the cloud edge — and everything the packet touches in between.
Greenfield builds, refresh planning, and high-availability topology design. Detailed IP addressing, VLAN strategy, and redundancy engineered before a single port is patched.
Migrating from Frame Relay, ATM, private line, or legacy MPLS to modern IP, SD-WAN, or hybrid architectures — with a plan that keeps the business running through cutover.
Structured cabling (Cat6A / fiber), PoE++ switching, campus-scale aggregation, and multi-closet designs sized for today’s load and tomorrow’s growth.
High-density coverage design backed by real heat maps, not guesses. AP placement, channel/power planning, controller architecture, and RF tuning for offices, warehouses, and outdoor spaces.
Multi-site connectivity — SD-WAN overlays, IPSec site-to-site tunnels, MPLS integration, remote-access VPN, and cloud on-ramps to Azure ExpressRoute and AWS Direct Connect.
Ongoing monitoring, QoS design, latency tuning, capacity forecasting, and cost consolidation. Turning a network that “works” into one that measurably outperforms.
Technology Coverage
We’re vendor-agnostic and technology-fluent across the stack. Below is a representative — not exhaustive — view of what we work with day to day.
How We Work
The same three-phase model we’ve refined over 27 years, on every scale of engagement.
Site walk-through, existing-network audit, requirements gathering, topology proposal, IP scheme, hardware bill-of-materials, and a fixed-price engagement plan — before we quote a single dollar of hardware.
Structured cabling, staged configuration in our lab, on-site device installation, cutover coordinated for minimum disruption, and full test-and-turn-up with your team.
Documentation handoff (topology maps, IP registers, cred vault, runbooks). Optional 24×7 NOC monitoring, firmware and controller upkeep, and adds/moves/changes on service agreement.
Where the Network Meets Everything Else
A great network is the foundation for smart-building systems — cameras, access control, IoT, A/V, and IP telephony all live on top of it. When we design both together, everything downstream just works.
